Agnieszka Gawrys

After graduating from SUNY StonyBrook in May 2020, with a Bachleor's in Computer Science, I began working on a frontend bundler for Atlassian, where I currently work. Recently, I've been gaining more experience with Rust, and enjoying improving the developer experience of Parcel. Most recently we migrated Atlassian's Jira to Parcel by utlizing custom plugins for Parcel.

Projects

Here are a few passion projects.

Stratego

A React Js web application for playing the strategy based board game Stratego! Created AI and contributed to game validation and logic. As the lead designer, I styled all pages using jsx, css, and bootstrap.

MurMur chat app

A chatting app created using Java servlets and jsp, hosted on Google App Engine. Worked on an activity feed and user profile.

2048 Game

Created the popular 2048 number merging game using MIPS assembly.

Experience

Atlassian

Currently, Agnieszka works at Atlassian on a Frontend Bundler, Parcel. Mostly recently we completed customizations on Parcel while migrating Jira, one of Atlassian largest applications, from Webpack to Parcel.

Intelligent Product Solutions

During the Summer 2020, Agnieszka worked at a consulting firm where she created a React Native App on top of an internal company tool. The app allows all employees to track, manage, and submit timesheets.
